Meet your guide: Chad Harmon
I’ve had a passion for muskie fishing for more than 31 years. Born and raised in Ohio, I’m based in Bolivar, Ohio, where I’ve spent years fishing all nine of Ohio’s premier muskie reservoirs, with my guiding expertise centered on Leesville, Salt Fork, and Milton.
Over the years, I’ve built deep experience across the fishing industry as a professional fishing guide, tournament angler, fishing lure designer, and public speaker. In the last five years alone, I’ve caught over 1,500 muskies, giving me an intimate understanding of these waters, seasonal patterns, and what it takes to consistently put fish in the net.
Guiding is more than just fishing—it’s about the experience. There’s nothing better than watching someone land their first trophy muskie, whether they’re a seasoned angler or brand new to the sport. My goal on every trip is simple: provide a professional, safe, and unforgettable muskie fishing experience.
What does a day trip look like?
Your day will begin on one of Ohio’s premier muskie reservoirs. While I’ve fished all nine of the Buckeye State’s muskie lakes, my guiding focus is primarily on Leesville Lake, Salt Fork Lake, and Lake Milton.
A day on the water typically starts early—unless you’re able to book one of my limited evening trips.
Depending on the time of year, we’ll target different areas of the lake based on seasonal movement, weather conditions, water clarity, angler experience, and current patterns. Throughout the day, we may be casting, trolling, or jigging, adjusting techniques as conditions change to give you the best opportunity to connect with a trophy muskie.
