What does a trip look like?

A day on the water with me starts EARLY (unless you are lucky enough to book one of my few evening trips).

Please be sure to arrive on time, however if you are running late a courtesy message would be appreciated. When you arrive, the boat will be in the water ready to go. Be sure to look at the image above to see what you are looking for.

Depending on the time of year, we will be fishing different locations on the lake. These spots will be determined by lake, weather, experience and trending patterns. Through the day we may be trolling, casting or even jigging depending on the conditions.

My goal as a guide, is not only put you on fish, but to teach you repeatable skills, techniques and patterns that you can replicate in your own fishing adventures.

Any fish caught, I will be sure to get a photograph and post on my social accounts as well as get the photo to you. Please note that all of my charters are catch and release. If you are interested in mounting your trophy, I can recommend a great fish replica taxidermist.

You will be back at the dock at the conclusion time of your trip. If you are interested in fishing over, please book an additional charter to get that additional experience.

Muskies are considered to be the fish of 10,000 casts. As much as I would love for you to catch many Muskie each trip, the reality of the situation is, if you catch one fish for the day...it was good day! However you might just get lucky and be with me on my best day...14 fish in ONE day on an Ohio Reservoir.

Can't wait to see you on the water!

What should I bring?

  •  You MUST have an Ohio Fishing License. If you need to purchase a license click here to visit the ODNR website to see details for licenses and permits.
